Client Services Officer

Summary

Provide front-desk reception, client coordination, invoicing, and administrative support for an accounting and tax team in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.

Behind every smooth-running accounting team is someone keeping the admin, the invoicing, and the client coordination on track. We're looking for that person to join our Hawke's Bay team.

We're seeking a permanent, full-time Client Services Officer to join our Accounting and Tax team, based 2 days a week in Hastings and 3 days a week in Waipukurau. This role suits an enthusiastic professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality service.

Your role and contribution

  • Provide front-of-house reception, warmly greeting clients and visitors, answering incoming calls, and managing the front desk
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including printing, filing, scanning, ordering supplies, mail, and liaising with building and property managers on maintenance
  • Coordinate client meetings and prepare financial documentation

  • Take ownership of invoicing and Work in Progress (WIP) management

  • Liaise with Advisers, Partners, and staff to support client requests and service delivery

  • Ensure client tasks across the region meet internal and external standards

  • Provide general support to the team, including file creation and database management

  • Proven administration experience with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
