At KinderCare Learning Companies, the first and only early childhood education provider recognized with the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award, we offer a variety of early education and child care options for families. Whether it’s KinderCare Learning Centers, Champions, or Crème de la Crème, we build confidence for kids, families, and the future we share. And we want you to join us in shaping it—in neighborhoods, at work, and in schools nationwide.

At KinderCare Learning Companies, you’ll use your skills and expertise to support the work (and fun) that happens in our sites and centers every day. From marketers and strategists to financial analysts and data engineers, and so much more, we’re all passionate about crafting a world where children, families, and organizations can thrive.

As a Client Success Manager, you'll serve as a strategic account manager responsible for maximizing the value, utilization, and growth of our existing client partnerships. You'll own a portfolio of client accounts, driving increased awareness, engagement, and utilization of employer-sponsored benefits while identifying opportunities for upselling, expansion, retention, and renewals.

Through proactive account management, data-driven strategies, and strong relationships with key decision makers, you'll develop and execute account plans that deliver measurable results for both our clients and our business. You'll partner closely with internal teams to address barriers to benefit utilization, strengthen the client experience, and uncover opportunities to grow existing partnerships.

This role is ideal for a results-driven relationship builder who combines strategic thinking, business acumen, and a passion for helping clients realize the full value of their investment.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management & Benefit Utilization

  • Own and manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary strategic relationship manager and driving overall account performance, engagement, and growth
  • Develop and execute proactive account strategies focused on increasing employee awareness, enrollment, and utilization of available benefits
  • Monitor utilization trends, identify underperforming accounts, and implement targeted strategies to remove barriers, improve participation, and maximize benefit adoption
  • Establish strong relationships with client decision makers, HR and benefits leaders, and other key stakeholders to align solutions with evolving organizational needs
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and execute client-specific engagement campaigns, communications, events, and other initiatives designed to increase benefit utilization

Client Growth, Retention & Renewals

  • Meet or exceed defined performance goals for benefit utilization, client retention, renewals, upselling, and account expansion
  • Identify, develop, and advance opportunities to upsell existing solutions, introduce additional benefits, and expand services within assigned accounts
  • Lead proactive retention and renewal strategies, identifying potential risks early and developing action plans to protect and grow existing client relationships
  • Build and maintain strategic account plans that align client objectives with business growth opportunities and measurable performance outcomes
  • Collaborate with sales and other internal partners to develop growth strategies, support expansion opportunities, and ensure continuity throughout the client lifecycle

Account Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor key performance indicators, including benefit utilization, engagement, account growth, renewal performance, and client retention
  • Analyze account-level data and trends to identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and develop actionable recommendations to improve utilization and business outcomes
  • Lead regular business reviews and strategic client discussions, communicating program performance, return on investment, and opportunities for continued growth
  • Maintain accurate account plans, client activity, growth opportunities, and performance forecasts within designated systems

Contract & Financial Management

  • Manage ongoing client contract requirements, including renewals, amendments, extensions, and compliance with contractual obligation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to coordinate billing, invoicing, and financial requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of client needs
  • Understand the financial performance of assigned accounts and identify opportunities to strengthen revenue, improve utilization, and maximize long-term account value

Cross-Functional Partnership & Client Advocacy

  • Collaborate with Sales, Field Operations, Marketing, Client Engagement, and other internal teams to execute account strategies and deliver a consistent client experience
  • Advocate for client needs and work cross-functionally to resolve challenges that may negatively impact utilization, satisfaction, retention, or growth
  • Leverage client feedback, performance insights, and market trends to recommend improvements that strengthen our solutions and overall partnership value
  • Support seamless transitions between implementation and ongoing account management, ensuring continued relationship development and accountability for client outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, Strategic Account Management, B2B Sales, or a similar revenue-focused client-facing role
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts, including achieving utilization, retention, renewal, upselling, and expansion goals
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding measurable account performance, revenue growth, and client retention targets
  • Experience developing and executing strategic account plans that drive increased product or benefit adoption, engagement, and measurable business results
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze utilization, financial, and performance data and translate insights into actionable account strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with executive leaders, HR and benefits professionals, and key client decision makers
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to identify client needs and position solutions that deliver value
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence business partners, and manage competing priorities in a results-oriented environment
