Client Success Specialist

The Client Success Specialist plays a vital role in supporting clients throughout their treatment journey by fostering engagement, providing case management services, and facilitating therapeutic groups. This position focuses on building meaningful relationships with clients, removing barriers to treatment, coordinating services, and creating a welcoming, supportive environment that promotes successful treatment outcomes.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, energetic, and passionate about helping individuals achieve lasting recovery and improved mental health.

Essential ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement

  • Build rapport with clients beginning at admission and throughout treatment.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to assess needs, address concerns, and encourage continued participation in services.
  • Promote a positive, welcoming, and recovery-oriented environment.
  • Identify barriers to treatment attendance and collaborate with clients to develop solutions.
  • Assist with client orientation and ensure clients understand available services and program expectations.
  • Support hospitality initiatives that enhance the client experience.

Case Management

  • Assess client needs and connect clients with appropriate community resources.
  • Coordinate referrals for medical, psychiatric, housing, employment, financial, legal, and social services.
  • Assist clients with insurance-related needs and benefit navigation.
  • Collaborate with treatment team members to support individualized treatment goals.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Communicate regularly with family members, referral sources, and community providers as appropriate.

Group Facilitation

  • Facilitate psychoeducational and recovery-focused groups using evidence-based practices.
  • Encourage participation and maintain a safe, supportive group environment.
  • Document attendance, participation, and group notes in accordance with agency standards.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to reinforce treatment goals through group programming.

QualificationsRequired

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced behavioral healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred

  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) credential.
  • Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, case management, or group facilitation.
  • Knowledge of community resources and behavioral healthcare systems.
