Join Our New Paediatric Allergy Specialist Clinic

We are a newly established paediatric allergy specialist clinic dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate care for infants, children and adolescents with allergic conditions. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Clinic Assistant to join our founding team to be the welcoming face of our clinic. You will handle frontline patient services, manage administrative tasks, and support the clinical team in creating a seamless, comforting experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform frontline duties including managing registration, scheduling appointments, and handling phone or email inquiries and coordination of patient flow.
  • Handle point-of-sale (POS) duties, including billing, processing payments (cash, NETS, credit card), and managing daily cash balancing.
  • Assist patients with insurance claims, CHAS, MediSave, or other relevant healthcare subsidies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and overall professional presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
  • Support clinical administrative tasks and file management as needed.

    Prepare patients for consultation, examinations, and procedures; perform chaperone duties where required
  • Chaperone doctor, prepare patients for examination as needed
  • Handle patient interactions with care and discretion, ensuring privacy and service standards are maintained

    Oversee inventory management, including ordering of medicines and clinic supplies, and maintaining adequate stock levels
  • Assist with medication dispensing in accordance with clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of consultation and treatment rooms
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, and internal protocols
  • Undertake additional duties and assignments as directed by Management

Job Requirements

  • Education: GCE 'N' Level, 'O' Level, Nitec, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working as a clinic assistant or in a frontline customer service/hospitality role is highly advantageous, but entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
  • Skills: Proficient in basic computer skills
  • A good team player with good interpersonal skills. Keen to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in a fast-paced clinic environment, keen learner
  • 5.5 work week
