Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

  • Assist the Paediatrician during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.

  • Prepare consultation and treatment rooms, ensuring all equipment and medical supplies are readily available.

  • Measure and record patients' vital signs, height, weight, head circumference and other clinical observations.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and child-friendly clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols.

Patient Care

  • Welcome and register patients and their caregivers.

  • Provide a warm and supportive experience for children and their families.

  • Assist in managing patient flow and appointment schedules to ensure efficient clinic operations.

  • Provide basic pre- and post-consultation instructions under the guidance of the Paediatrician.

  • Respond to patient enquiries professionally and escalate clinical concerns when necessary.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Coordinate appointments, follow-up visits and referrals.

  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and patient documentation.

  • Process billing, insurance claims and government subsidy submissions where applicable.

  • Monitor inventory levels of medications, vaccines and medical consumables and coordinate replenishment with suppliers.

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the clinic to ensure smooth service delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent qualification.

  • Healthcare-related qualifications will be an advantage.

  • Prior experience in a paediatric, specialist, GP or healthcare clinic is preferred.

  • Fresh graduates with a keen interest in paediatric healthcare are welcome to apply.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Compassionate, patient and child-friendly with a positive attitude.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinic management systems.

  • A team player who is eager to learn and committed to delivering excellent patient care.

  • Able to commit to the clinic operating hours:

    Mon & Thu: 9am-5pm

    Tue: 9am-7.30pm

    Wed, Fri & Sat: 9am-1pm
