Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and patient-focusedClinic Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our clinic. This role combines patient care, administrative support, and clinic coordination to ensure a positive experience for patients and the smooth delivery of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Front Desk Support

  • Greet patients, family members, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Register patients, verify personal and insurance information, and maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Escort patients to consultation rooms and assist with preparation for consultations when required.
  • Provide patients with information and instructions relating to medications, tests, and follow-up appointments.
  • Assist with basic clinical procedures, including taking vital signs, in accordance with training and clinic protocols.
  • Assist patients with Healthier SG enrolment and coordinate related consultations, health screening, vaccinations, and follow-up appointments.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Assist patients with the completion of required forms and documentation.
  • Support billing, claims processing, and payment-related administrative matters.
  • Manage filing systems and ensure documentation is organised and up to date.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support clinic operations.

Clinic Operations & Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate communication between patients and doctors when required.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals and colleagues to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional clinic environment.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of medical and office supplies, including replenishment when necessary.
  • Support operational activities and process improvements to enhance patient experience and service delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum N-Level, O-Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • Candidates with or without prior work experience are welcome to apply.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn clinic management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Advantageous Experience

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with Healthier SG and other community healthcare programmes.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
