Statement of Purpose
The RN/LPN/MA provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practice in a confidential manner, with a focus on annual wellness visits. Assists the physician with procedures within the clinic, ensuring quality, efficient, caring, and professional care and treatment of the patients. Performs overall RN/LPN/MA care, with an emphasis in Annual Wellness visits; including triage for drop-in and telephoning patients, immunization administration and oversight. The RN/LPN/MA provides direct nursing care for individual patients with well-defined nursing diagnoses. The RN/LPN/MA communicates with and on behalf of the patient and coordinates patient care with all health team members. The RN/LPN/MA organizes those aspects of nursing care for which s/he is accountable in a specified work period.
