Clinical Business Analyst (Therapeutics Documentation)

We are seeking a Clinical Business Analyst to support a large-scale acute care digital health transformation and Clinical Information System implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering clinical documentation requirements, facilitating workshops with healthcare providers and subject matter experts, conducting use case and business process analysis, and developing comprehensive clinical documentation deliverables. This role focuses on therapeutics and will contribute directly to the design and implementation of clinical systems that improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

The Clinical Analyst will work across multiple project streams, collaborating with clinical teams, stakeholders at all organizational levels, and project team members to translate healthcare workflows into system requirements and detailed design specifications. Key responsibilities include leading requirements workshops, developing user stories and use cases, creating clinical documentation related to therapeutic services, and supporting the implementation of clinical information systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong self-direction, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Clinical Analyst, Clinical Informatics Analyst, or equivalent role responsible for clinical documentation requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation.

- 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst in a large-scale acute care digital health transformation or Clinical Information System (CIS/EHR) implementation project.

- Demonstrated experience developing clinical deliverables supporting therapeutics in a business analyst or clinical informatics analyst capacity.

- University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience.

- 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Clinical Business Analyst responsible for documentation-related requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design and build activities, implementation, and developing clinical documentation related to therapeutic services or therapeutic experience in an acute care setting. Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is valued: Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE), order sets, clinical documentation, or ancillary services (Pharmacy, Medical Imaging, Lab).

- 3+ years of demonstrated facilitation skills, including leading workshops with healthcare providers to identify and articulate business requirements, system requirements, and develop user stories or use cases.

- 5+ years of demonstrated experience working with a high level of self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels.

- 5+ years of demonstrated ability to multi-task, work with multiple teams, and support more than one project stream or activity at a time.

- 5+ years of knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams) and Atlassian's JIRA software in a project or work environment.

Nice to Have
- Verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in French and English.

- Previous experience working within public health authorities, demonstrating a strong understanding of the public healthcare landscape, policies, and practices.

- Experience within the healthcare system in the relevant region.
