Qualifications

• Meet one of the following education and experience pathways:
• • Option A: Master’s degree (MA/MS/MSW) in counseling, social work, sociology, or psychology.
  • Option B: Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, counseling, or psychology, with at least 6 months of experience working in a clinical/mental health setting.
  • Option C: Associate’s degree (AA) in social work, sociology, counseling, or psychology, with at least 4 years of experience working in a clinical/mental health setting.
• Knowledge and application of legal and ethical standards of practice, including child abuse reporting requirements.

· Possess sufficient clinical skills necessary for assessing presence and impact of youth emotional/behavioral needs, conducting appropriate referrals, and building positive and trusting relationships with youth and families

• Valid California driver’s license and access to reliable transportation, or the ability to meet travel requirements through reasonable accommodation.
