The right fit:
- Strong small animal general practice experience, ideally five or more years, with confidence managing a varied medical caseload and routine surgery and dentistry.
- Previous clinical leadership experience, or demonstrated success mentoring colleagues and taking responsibility for clinical standards.
- The ability to provide constructive feedback, address clinical concerns and build a collaborative, accountable team.
- Sound clinical judgement, including recognising when to seek support or refer.
- An understanding of how clinical decisions, workflows and client communication contribute to a sustainable hospital.
- An interest in developing services that meet community needs
