We are now recruiting for a Clinical Equipment Support Technician to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an established global healthcare organisation, working hands-on with clinical equipment and supporting the systems and equipment used across clinical trials and customer environments.
Based onsite, you’ll work closely with experienced clinical, technical, warehouse and customer support teams, gaining valuable knowledge of our products, processes and the wider medical device industry. Your attention to detail, technical skills and ability to solve problems will have a direct impact on the quality and readiness of our equipment.

What you’ll be responsible for
As a Clinical Equipment Support Technician, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our clinical equipment is inspected, serviced, maintained and ready for use.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting the Managed Equipment Supervisor with the day-to-day management of Clinical Trials Equipment and the setup of Clinical Systems.
• Supporting Clinical Study requirements.
• Checking new and returned equipment prior to booking in and carrying out material inspections.
• Servicing, repairing and refurbishing Clinical stock, including setting up and testing equipment prior to despatch to customers.
• Carrying out routine repairs and Planned Preventive Maintenance procedures as required.
• Taking ownership of individual issues through to resolution.
• Prioritising issues and using the appropriate communication methods as defined within Managed Equipment Support.
• Providing cover for the Goods In role and assisting with stock control and restocking of stores when required.
• Providing cover for annual leave and other absences as required.
• Carrying out other reasonable tasks as required by Vitalograph management.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is technically capable, organised and comfortable working in a regulated environment, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.

You’ll ideally have:
• Good knowledge of Vitalograph products.
• Good knowledge of Goods Processing.
• Good knowledge of Inspection Practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to assess and improve working practices within MEMS.
• The ability to assess and improve working practices within the Warehouse.
• Competence in Vitalograph procedures and the Quality Management System (QMS).
• An understanding of ISO 13485, the Medical Devices Directive and GCP, as required.
