About the Position: This position is located at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. This position is for CAMP LEJEUNE TRANSFUSION SERVICES ). This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Recruitment Incentive may be authorized. Relocation Incentive may be authorized. Advanced In-hire may be authorized.

Perform specialized and technically demanding tests that require concentrated and considerable time and experience.

Review daily quality control and quality assurance data, recognizes and solves quality assurance problems.

Evaluate required documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

Maintain required documentation to ensure compliance with various regulatory agencies.

Train and mentor junior technicians and other staff members.

Manufacturing of blood products in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices.

Inventory and shipping of blood products.

Review donor and manufacturing records in accordance with Food and Drug Administration and Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies.

Assist the military and civilian supervisor in other related functions as required.
