CLINICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST

About the Position: This position is located within the A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center, in a Clinical Laboratory setting. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the full range of clinical laboratory services. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Develop new solutions to methodological problems.

Analyze test systems.

Perform Core Laboratory analyses which involve a wide variety of different test methods and systems.

Retrieve information from automated systems for various purposes.

Review daily Quality Control data.

Apply appropriate corrective actions should quality control and/or performance indicators fail.
