Clinical Laboratory Scientist

About the Position: Position is located at WOMACK Fort Bragg, NC. Department of Pathology Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Provide essential clinical laboratory support in of Core laboratory testing procedures for patient care.

Investigate equipment malfunctions.

Perform daily administrative functions to include pending list review, quality control is completed, reviewed with appropriate actions and associated documentation, and communication for the next shift is relayed.

Evaluate laboratory procedures for suitability and examines specimens for proper collection, adequate quantity, and correct patient identification

Prepare reagents, stains, solutions, and primary quality control material as necessary.
