Clinical Laboratory Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities Perform comparative hematology, clinical chemistry testing, blood bank, urinalysis and coagulation testing as well as assist in the development of new diagnostic tests applicable to animal species. Actively participate in sample analysis along with other technicians. Ensure even distribution and coordination of work in the laboratory Ensure analysis conducted for investigators follows the guidelines set forth by the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Act Coordinate research services for biomedical investigations Communicate with clinical pathologists, clinicians, professional students and biomedical investigators. Train emergency technicians. Perform other duties as assigned.
