Description

The Clinical Lead/Office Manager will perform all duties of a Medical Assistant and function as a resource person to staff. We are seeking a strong, motivated, and experienced medical assistant leader for a dual role supporting both the clinical and operational needs of our medical office.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
  • Medication reconciliation and documentation
  • Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
  • Assisting providers with examinations and procedures
  • Performing clinical duties within scope of practice
  • Completing clinical tasks, messages, referrals, and orders
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other Medical Assistants.
  • Partner with the Site Partner in overseeing daily office operations.
  • Assist with opening/closing and ensuring the office is prepared for daily operations.
  • Help monitor patient flow, provider schedules, staffing levels, and overall office efficiency.
  • Assist with tracking office metrics and identifying operational concerns.
  • Help ensure staff are following established policies and procedures.
  • Assist with supply ordering, inventory management, and maintaining appropriate clinical supplies
  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives and implementation of new workflows.
  • Help identify operational challenges and work collaboratively to develop solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, providers, and the PSC.
  • Assist the Site Partner with special projects and other operational responsibilities as assigned.

  • Must have previous Medical Assistant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Supervisory experience
  • A strong and positive personality to support staff
  • Should be familiar with EHR systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
