JOB TITLE: Clinical Nurse Coordinator

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: A Clinical Nurse Coordinator bridges patient care and administration
Responsibilities include managing patient care plans, supervising nursing staff, evaluating medical outcomes, and acting as a liaison between patient, families, and doctors, and staff. They also handle daily unit operations and ensure regulatory compliance. This position will be directed under neath the Clinical Manager and work closely with the management team/administration
In addition, the incumbent will participate in the development and operation, as needed, of the clinical practice of the facilities including patient services, patient scheduling and other related practice functions as directed by the Clinical Manager. Work schedule/hours may vary depending on needs of office.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Patient Care: Directs patients care teams and serves as a point of contact for complex treatment plans

Staff Leadership: Schedules and supervises nursing staff, evaluates performance, and helps onboard new hires

Administrative Operations: Drafts unit policies, manages medical records, handles scheduling, and coordinates with insurance/financial departments

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-5 years of clinical nursing experience, with previous leadership or charge nurse experience highly perferred
  • Requires a BSN Nurse Degree
  • Clinically eligible & licensed with the State of Utah
