Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health)

About the Position: This position is located within an outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Tennessee. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Assesses and diagnoses acute mental health conditions of patients presenting to the clinic or Military Treatment Facility.

Provides individual and/or group therapy using a variety of evidence-based modalities.

Evaluates treatment effectiveness using objectives and measurable outcomes and makes appropriate adjustments for increased compliance and efficacy.

Maintains concise documentation of care and recommendations in patient’s medical record.

Provides emergency behavioral health services on a scheduled, rotating and on-call basis to patients during normal duty hours to include screening patients for appropriateness of psychiatric hospitalizations.

Maintains full professional responsibility and individual accountability for professional decisions and actions (e.g., diagnoses, treatment recommendations and implementation).
