Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health)

About the Position: This position is located at Keller Army Community Hospital at West Point, NY. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Provide individual and group treatment, using various modalities as clinically indicated to include brief problem-focused interventions, cognitive-mental therapy, and psychoeducational classes.

Assess acute mental health and mental medicine conditions in beneficiaries who present with such issues.

Conduct outpatient group and individual therapy, stress management, relaxation training, assertive/social skills training, substance abuse identification and other brief related interventions.

Serve as the on-call provider, on a rotating basis with all other staff members, during normal business hours and after business hours, nights, and weekends.

Provide psychological and clinical consultation to physicians, other professionals and paraprofessionals.
