Clinical Research Coordinator

The Clinical Research Coordinator manages orthopaedic research studies from planning through completion. This position works closely with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate study activities, recruit participants, manage and analyze data, and ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Prepare and submit Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, supporting documents, and renewals.

• Screen patients for study eligibility, coordinate informed consent, and educate patients and families about study participation.
• Collect and maintain research data, perform statistical analyses, and prepare tables, graphs, and reports.
• Assist with study protocols, budgets, grant submissions, and preparation for research audits.
• Assist with writing, editing, and submitting abstracts, manuscripts, and conference presentations.
• Communicate study findings to investigators and present research at local and national conferences.
• Coordinate with physicians, clinical staff, and participating research sites to ensure adherence to study protocols and applicable requirements.
• Attend required meetings and training, protect patient confidentiality, and perform other duties as assigned.
