Dr. Puttarajappa’s research focuses on

(ii) Complications from donor derived viral infections such as EBV and CMV.

(iii) Application of Decision Sciences to kidney transplantation.

Research methods employed include clinical epidemiology using both electronic health record (EHR) data and data from the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR), prediction modeling, survey techniques, and economic evaluations (cost-effectiveness analysis and decision-analysis).

Familiarity with Stata (or other related) statistical software and survey research methods including use of RedCap or Qualtrics are highly desirable but not required.
