Clinical Services Administrator

This position is located within the Billings Area Indian Health Service, Fort Peck Service Unit, Poplar/Wolf Point, MT. The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive administrative management assistance to the Clinical Director and daily clinical oversight to the Clinical Services personnel. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Serve as principal advisor to the Clinical Director regarding planning and coordination of professional and administrative functions. Provide orientation to new employees, contractors, and volunteers in the Clinical Services Branch. Conduct employment interviews; Set priorities independently and/or in consultation with the Clinical Director. Develop and monitor performance improvement (PI) activities for the Clinical Services Branch. This includes assisting with monitoring the clinical performance of individuals with clinical privileges, drug utilization evaluation, medical records reviews, monitoring the performance of external services, patient complaints, workload reports or equivalent, and other quality improvement activities assigned to the Clinical Services Branch.
