The Clinical Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in overseeing all clinical operations, supporting and developing clinical team members, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and compliance. This position works closely with the Clinical Director and Office Manager to ensure appropriate staffing, efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of clinical performance. The Clinical Supervisor sets the tone for professionalism, accountability, and excellence within the clinical department.

• Set and manage schedules for clinical staff, including Dental Assistants, Hygienists, Hygiene Assistants, and Sterilization Assistants.
• Conduct morning huddles to assign and delegate staff for proper clinical coverage and workflow efficiency.
• Oversee PTO requests and coverage planning for all clinical staff.
• Supervise sterilization processes and ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards.
• Maintain employee OSHA files and coordinate annual OSHA walkthroughs and checklists.
• Assist with onboarding by supporting OSHA training and clinical orientation for new hires.
• Ensure clinical staff demonstrate proper use of iTero, Pan/CBCT, implant systems, whitening systems, and root canal systems.
• Train staff on new equipment and evolving clinical technologies.
• Manage implant and root canal inventory to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance for clinical equipment, including yearly Benco maintenance and service requests.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director on x-ray sensor needs and imaging equipment oversight.
• Ensure all clinical staff adhere to proper disinfection, sterilization, and safety protocols consistently.
