Clinical Supervisor - School-based Services

Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking a Clinical Supervisor/ Team Lead to join our Children & Families team. This full-time position will support the Brainerd High School, Lincoln Education Center, and Brainerd Learning Center school teams. Duties of this position will include, but are not limited to:

Essential Functions include:

  • Facilitate and co-facilitate individual, group, family, and crisis therapies
  • Provide intakes, comprehensive evaluations, and updates to evaluations
  • Develop a treatment plan within the expected timelines (including the plan for family involvement/consultation and cultural considerations). Implement the treatment plan thereafter
  • Complete a client-centered Crisis Plan within three sessions
  • Completion of paperwork within expected timelines
  • Schedule and attend individual treatment plan reviews (every 180 days)
  • Collaborate regularly with both staff and community partners including: schools, social services, court services, medical agencies, mental health providers, managed care organizations and the community at large
  • Maintain necessary written records such as individual treatment plans, case notes, assessments, program evaluations, and correspondence in accordance with NPMHC policies and procedures, and other applicable regulations
  • Participate in clinical supervision and consultation in accordance with CTSS and CCBHC guidelines and attend multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Provide parent/ guardian/ caregiver feedback on behalf of the child/adolescent’s involvement in treatment on a daily/ weekly basis.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as requested
  • Provide clinical supervision for supervisees, per their board expectations, for licensure hours. Supervisees will be assigned as appropriate
  • Review and sign documentation for supervisees in a timely manner
  • Partner with Program Directors to address performance issues with supervisees and team members
  • Manage team schedules, including but not limited to: timecards, time-off requests, schedule adjustments, punch change requests, etc.
  • Provide coverage for team members as needed. May include occasional coverage for neighboring teams
  • Complete intakes to help manage waitlist, ensure timely access to care, and help sustain practitioner caseloads
  • Partner with Program Directors to screen and onboard new staff
  • Track team Client Care Goals to monitor and encourage success for team members
  • Attend meetings with Program Directors, as scheduled

Qualifications include:

  • This position may be filled by a mental health professional independently licensed in the state of Minnesota (i.e. LICSW, LMFT, LP, Psychiatric Nurse, LPCC)
  • Master’s degree in behavioral health sciences
  • Certification to provide Board Approved Clinical Supervision in respective licensure is preferred
  • This is a Full-time position typically working daytime, weekday hours. Working nights, weekends and extended hours may be required
  • Travel is a function of this position; a valid driver's license is required

Compensation & Benefits include:

  • Wage Range: $74,000 - $83,000 annually considering credentials
