Clinician Assistant
Summary
Supports a clinician by preparing educational materials, conducting research, organizing events, and managing administrative tasks in a healthcare or medical research setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of presentation slides, lectures, and educational materials for conferences and seminars.
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize medical journals to provide evidence-based support for clinical research.
- Collaborate on research projects, which includes data collection, data management, and manuscript preparation.
- Organise Continuing Medical Education (CME) events and academic conferences, overseeing scheduling and logistics.
- Prepare clinical reports and other documentation as necessary.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including hospitals and research collaborators.
- Facilitate administrative tasks, appointment coordination, and project monitoring for the clinician.
- Ensure the confidentiality of patient and research information while maintaining accurate records.
- Undertake other ad hoc responsibilities as needed by the clinician.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
- Strong enthusiasm for clinical research and medical education.
- Proficient in conducting literature reviews and preparing presentations.
