Clinician - MID/SOA
Summary
Full-time clinician conducts substance-use assessments, therapy sessions, and case management for court-referred clients in a non-profit behavioral-health setting.
NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is currently seeking a Full-Time Clinician for the Substance Use Services Programs; Massachusetts Impaired Driver and the Second Offender Aftercare Treatment Program (MID/SOA) located in Haverhill, MA. Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting Substance Use assessments including MAST and DAST.
- Conducting Clinical Intakes to include DSM 5 Diagnosis.
- Facilitate Individual therapy, group therapy and case management with clients who are referred by court.
- Completing all required clinical documentation.
- Communication to Probation and other collaterals regarding program start.
- Collaborating with the Program Director on treatment recommendations, clinical curriculum and program development.
- Demonstrate comfortability in providing a judgement free environment.
Job Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in a clinical field.
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder (preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to seek out community resources independently.
- Valid driver’s license.
Salary: $60,000
