Know someone great? Refer them to Clipster and receive a referral bonus if they are hired and successfully complete their first 3 months.
Referral Bonus
40% of the candidate’s monthly base salary
Example:
If the candidate’s monthly base salary is $7,000, your referral bonus is $2,800
The bonus is calculated from base salary only. Bonuses, equity, commissions, relocation, signing bonuses, benefits, reimbursements, and other variable compensation are not included.
Who Can Refer
This program is for individual people referring candidates in their personal capacity.
Companies, recruiting agencies, staffing firms, headhunters, sourcing vendors, and professional recruiters are not eligible unless Clipster has a separate written agreement with them.
Valid Referral Requirements
- To qualify for a referral bonus:
- You must personally know the candidate.
- The candidate must know you are referring them.
- The candidate must agree to be contacted by Clipster.
- The candidate must not already be in Clipster’s hiring pipeline or candidate database.
- The candidate must apply through your referral link or another approved referral process.
- The candidate must be hired by Clipster.
- The candidate must successfully complete 3 months of employment and remain in good standing.
When the Bonus Is Paid
- The referral bonus is paid after the candidate successfully completes 3 months at Clipster and passes any applicable performance or probation review.
- No bonus is paid if the candidate resigns, is terminated, does not pass the review, or Clipster decides not to continue employment after the 3-month period.
Important Rules
- First valid referral wins if multiple people refer the same candidate.
- Cold leads, scraped profiles, random LinkedIn contacts, or candidates you do not personally know are not eligible.
- You may not act on behalf of Clipster, make promises to candidates, negotiate offers, or suggest that a candidate is guaranteed an interview, offer, or job.
- You may not charge candidates any fee for referring them.
- Before payment, Clipster may request tax and payment documents, such as W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, or other required documentation.
- All referrals are subject to Clipster’s External Referral Program Terms.
