【CLN】Business English Teacher in Taichung (Part-time)

【Job Descriptions】

• Diverse Case Matching & Teaching (Cases are assigned based on your past experience, recruitment performance, educational background, and personal preference):

─ Individual (2C) One-on-One Sessions: Designing and providing customized programs and consultations for the general public or students with specific needs (e.g., celebrity students, high-level executives).
─ Corporate (2B) Group Classes: Providing course teaching, syllabus, and teaching material design for corporate training programs.
─ Corporate (2B) One-on-One Sessions: Providing core business English training for corporate managers or key talents.
─ Special Lectures or Workshops: If the collaboration goes smoothly and your professional background aligns with the client's needs, you will have opportunities for these advanced stages.

• Designing courses, syllabuses, teaching materials in accordance with guidelines from the Division of Talent Training at CLN
• Participating in company meetings to develop, plan, and design teaching programs and activities
• Providing assistance in offline activities

(e.g. media exposure events; in-house consultancy; lectures and workshops)

• Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
• Building good classroom interactions
• Conducting follow-up assessments on students’ learning outcomes
• Evaluating students' progress and providing guidance for improvement
• Planning courses based on students’ needs.

【Minimum Qualifications】

• Teaching experience: 3 years or above of teaching experience
• If you lack corporate training experience but have a teaching background at "Adult English Institutes," "Colleges/Universities," or "Well-known Online Teaching Platforms (candidates with high accumulated teaching hours and popular/featured teacher certifications are highly preferred)", you are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Education:

Bachelor's / Master's degree or higher in Language, Education, English and American literature, IT MBA, Banking, Finance, Human Resources, Journalism, etc

• For foreign applicants, we are only able to consider those who hold a Gold Card, Alien Permanent Resident Certificate (APRC), or who have obtained an ARC through marriage for now.

【Preferred Qualifications】

• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (at least 120 hours)
• TOEIC (950 or above) or TOEFL (110 or above)
• Other English certificates.

• Positive attitude at work and passion for teaching. Capable of managing timing and pace in the classroom. Teaching with charisma that attracts students' attention.
• Competent in designing curriculum and teaching materials.
• Building a good working relationship with colleagues and following CLN’s code of conduct and ethics.
• Practical experience in the workplace in banking, finance, human resources, public relations, communication, technology, law, medicine, etc. is highly preferred.

【Remuneration】

• Hourly Rate: NT$ 800 - 1,600 (※ The actual rate will be determined within this range based on a comprehensive assessment of the candidate's educational and professional background, interview and demo performance, and personal willingness.)
• A transportation allowance is provided separately for physical courses.
• Project bonuses are awarded based on the type of case.
• Profit sharing is implemented when CLN's clients renew their contracts.
