Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a data engineer with proven delivery across complex projects.
- Strong stakeholder-facing capability; able to manage client interactions, gather requirements, and present solutions effectively.
- Strong experience designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on expertise in data engineering tools (Databricks, Delta Lake, distributed compute).
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or R).
- Solid understanding of DevOps best practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience building Power BI models, dashboards, and optimized data structures.
- Excellent technical documentation and solution design skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage Azure cloud environments with a focus on networking, Entra ID/Active Directory, managed identities, and secure access.
- Build scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms using Databricks, Delta Lake, and distributed compute frameworks.
- Develop and optimize semantic models and reports using Power BI and other BI tooling.
- Write robust SQL, Python, Scala, or R code for data transformation, automation, and analytics workflows.
- Implement CI/CD, IaC, and cloud automation using Terraform and DevOps pipelines.
- Produce high-quality architectural documentation, technical designs, and reusable patterns.
