Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with at least 3 years of experience specializing in Terraform-based infrastructure automation on GCP and AWS. Strong expertise in designing scalable cloud architectures, managing Linux systems, and implementing secure, compliant environments.

Hands-on experience in building end-to-end IaC pipelines, multi-environment deployments, and cloud-native infrastructure for AI/ML workloads. Adept at improving operational efficiency, enforcing security controls, and supporting high-availability production environments.

  • Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (must-have, strong proficiency required)

  • Create reusable Terraform modules and enforce best practices across environments.

  • Automate provisioning, scaling, and management of infrastructure

  • Work on networking, IAM, security, and cost optimization in GCP

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design cloud-native architectures

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines integrating Terraform deployments

  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security


Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (advanced level)

  • Deep understanding of GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, etc.)

  • Experience with infrastructure automation and provisioning

  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and access controls

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

  • Good knowledge of Linux systems and scripting (Bash/Python)

Security & Privacy Operations

  • Implement baseline security controls across cloud and on-prem environments.

  • Assist in vulnerability assessments, patching, and remediation of identified risks.

  • Participate in incident response activities, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

  • Provide timely support to internal teams for infrastructure and cloud-related issues.

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge bases.

  • Work with engineering and ml teams to support project deployments and operational requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Working knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, NIST, etc., is preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to operations.

Good To Have

  • Experience with budgeting/cost tracking on AWS or GCP.

  • Exposure to privacy principles, data protection laws, and responsible data handling.

  • Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or GPU infrastructure.
