Cloud Architect – (AWS Cloud Architecture, Cloud Security Controls, Terraform, PowerShell, IAC, Cloud Infrastructure and Network Management).

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architecture solutions using AWS for enterprise applications.
• Develop cloud solution designs covering cloud infrastructure, networking, security, storage, connectivity, and deployment requirements.
• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and high availability.
• Implement and manage security controls across cloud environments, including access controls, encryption, firewall policies, and web application security.
• Design and maintain secure network environments using VPCs, Security Groups, Network ACLs, and network boundary controls.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate and standardize cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Develop reusable Terraform configurations to support consistent infrastructure deployment across multiple environments.
• Support cloud deployment and DevSecOps activities by integrating infrastructure automation and security practices into delivery processes.
• Use PowerShell and scripting automation to simplify cloud administration, infrastructure management, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and investigate performance, availability, connectivity, and security-related issues.
• Troubleshoot complex AWS, cloud infrastructure, security, and network connectivity issues and coordinate with relevant technical teams for resolution.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and network teams to deliver secure and reliable cloud solutions.
• Review cloud and network architecture and recommend improvements to security, reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Support cloud migration, deployment, environment configuration, and production-readiness activities.
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical guidance on AWS, cloud security, Terraform, infrastructure, and networking.
• Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams, infrastructure specifications, technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate with cloud service providers and infrastructure vendors on cloud resource requirements, network connectivity, security controls, and technical issues.
• Support high-availability and reliability requirements when designing and deploying cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure cloud solutions and infrastructure follow applicable security, compliance, and organizational standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture, cloud infrastructure, or related technologies.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud architecture.
• Experience in designing and managing secure cloud environments.
• Strong experience in implementing and managing cloud security controls, access management, encryption, firewall policies, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience in automating cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
• Experience with PowerShell or equivalent scripting for infrastructure and cloud automation.
• Strong experience in managing cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and availability.
• Experience in network management, including VPC, Security Groups, Network ACLs, DNS, connectivity, and network boundary controls.
• Experience in supporting highly available and reliable cloud solutions.
• Experience in CI/CD and DevSecOps practices is preferred.
• Experience in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, security, and network connectivity issues.
• Strong experience in applying cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience in working with infrastructure, application, DevOps, security, and network teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience in AWS and other cloud technologies with AWS or other cloud certifications.
