Cloud Architect, AWS Migration
Summary
Design and implement AWS cloud architectures for large-scale VMware-to-AWS migrations, using Terraform and CloudFormation to automate infrastructure and modernize apps, databases, and containers.
We are enabling large-scale VMware-to-AWS migrations by defining robust cloud architectures aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework practices. As a Cloud Architect, you will lead Landing Zone and Disaster Recovery design, drive automation with Terraform and CloudFormation, and support modernization for apps, databases, and containers—apply now.
Responsibilities
- Architect cloud solutions for application and infrastructure migration to AWS
- Establish Landing Zone architecture, hybrid connectivity, and Disaster Recovery design
- Validate end-to-end designs for compute platforms, networking, storage, databases, and containers
- Implement Infrastructure as Code modules using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Define automation best practices and technical standards for infrastructure
- Assess and validate architectures created by engineering teams
- Support delivery teams with specialized expertise through each migration stage
- Design modernization plans for applications, containers, and databases
- Contribute to technical reviews, complex troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Produce architecture documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to operations teams
Requirements
- Deep experience across infrastructure, solutions architecture, or cloud platforms (9+ years)
- Strong background designing solutions on Amazon Web Services (5+ years)
- Hands-on experience delivering VMware infrastructure migration projects to AWS
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Practical knowledge of container architectures with Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes
- Experience modernizing and migrating relational and NoSQL databases
- Track record supporting technology transformation programs in large organizations
- Nice-to-have experience with AWS Professional Services or AWS Partners
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
