About this position: Cloud Architect Location – Randolph AFB, TX

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adoption process.
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
- Develop and organize cloud systems.
- Work closely with Cybersecurity to monitor the portfolio's cloud privacy.
- Respond to technical issues.
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications
- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field
- Level of Experience Requirements: 15–20 years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have or be able to attain a SECRET security clearance.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Deep knowledge of Department of Defense cloud policies and processes.
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
- Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
Preferred
- Agile development experience.
- Active SECRET security clearance.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements
- This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.

This job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. Typical work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (Central Time). This job may require additional hours. Work hours may change at Management's discretion with or without prior notice.
Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
