We are looking for a Junior to Senior Cloud Backend Engineer to join our Enterprise Networking Cloud Backend team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating scalable cloud-native backend services that power Enterprise Networking solutions. As a Junior to Senior Cloud Backend Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Frontend engineers, Local Controller engineers, DevOps/SRE engineers, and Product managers, to build reliable, secure, and high-performance cloud platforms. You will contribute to architecture decisions, backend development, cloud infrastructure integration, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
What You’ll Do:
1. Design, develop, and maintain Cloud Backend services that power Enterprise Networking solutions, including centralized network management and device lifecycle management.
2. Develop scalable RESTful APIs, gRPC APIs and Microservices for managing Enterprise Networking devices such as Controllers, Access Points, Switches and Gateways.
3. Design backend architectures to support large-scale device onboarding, provisioning, configuration, monitoring, firmware management, and policy enforcement.
4. Develop real-time notification services to deliver network events, alarms, firmware updates, configuration changes, and operational insights through channels such as WebSocket, push notifications, email, or messaging services.
5. Design and implement secure multi-tenant architectures, role-based access control (RBAC), audit logging, and API security best practices.
6. Drive system performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency through architecture improvements and continuous optimization.
7. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practices.

【Essential Requirements】
1. 2+ years of RESTful API / gRPC / GraphQL Web Services development experience. Experience with Python or Go is preferred; Java experience is also acceptable.
2. Familiarity with API security best practices, including token-based authentication, Role based access control (RBAC), and secure communication between services.
3. Solid understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
4. Hands-on experience with Linux-based Cloud development and Container orchestration(Docker, Compose, and Kubernetes).
5. Hands-on experience with NGINX for reverse proxy, load balancing, API gateway, SSL/TLS termination, mutual authentication (mTLS), and HTTP routing.
【Preferred Qualifications】
1. Expertise in Microservices architecture with hands-on experience in cloud-native technologies and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
2. Experience developing Network Management Systems (NMS) or Cloud Controller, including network automation, configuration management, monitoring, and orchestration.
3. Experience building multi-tenant (MSP) Cloud platforms and Services.
4. Experience optimizing Kubernetes workloads for scalability, high availability, observability, and security.
5. Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures using asynchronous messaging and event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ).
