Cloud Data Engineer - Banking (ASAP)
Summary
The Cloud Data Engineer will design and manage cloud-based data solutions for banking clients using Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on building and orchestrating data pipelines using Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, and BigQuery.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer, Data Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or related role.
Experience working in Banking / Financial Services is mandatory
Strong experience in Cloud Engineering, particularly in designing and managing cloud-based data solutions.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially:
Google Cloud Composer
BigQuery
Apache Airflow
Strong understanding and hands-on experience in data pipeline development and orchestration using Airflow / Cloud Composer.
Proficient in Python for data engineering and automation.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and data manipulation.
Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data pipeline architecture.
Familiar with cloud-based data warehouse concepts and best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
