Cloud Data Engineer
Salary: $42,000 – $47,000 per month

Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements for in-house application development projects.
Perform the full software development lifecycle, including system design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and production support.
Design and develop cloud-native solutions, including Serverless APIs, Event-driven data pipelines and Containerized batch processing applications
Design and implement relational database models, database objects, and data access layers.
Prepare technical specifications, system documentation, unit test plans, and integration test plans.
Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, parallel run activities, and post-production stabilization.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including 3 years of hands-on cloud application development experience.
Solid experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, including serverless architectures and managed data services.
Strong programming skills in Python with experience building enterprise-grade applications
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, including query optimization and performance tuning.
Experience in Data modelling, Apache Spark, RESTful API, ETL/ELT processes and Streaming data pipelines
Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies
Hands-on experience with MDM/Customer 360, entity resolution, data quality management, Kafka/CDC, infrastructure as code (IaC), and Apache Airflow will be a plus
Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
