We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Data Platform Architect to support the design and delivery of modern cloud-based data solutions. This role combines architecture, technical leadership, and hands-on engineering within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable cloud and data platform solutions.
- Define solution architectures and detailed technical designs.
- Build and implement cloud-native data pipelines and platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and provide technical guidance.
- Support batch and real-time data processing initiatives.
- Develop CI/CD pipe lines and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Participate in architecture reviews and solution governance.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong solution architecture and cloud engineering expertise.
- Experience with data migration, modernisation, and greenfield projects.
- Knowledge of batch and streaming data architectures.
- Expertise in at least one major public cloud platform.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience building production-grade cloud solutions.
Desirable
- Experience with bigdata and distributed processing technologies.
- Exposure to modern open-source data ecosystems.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Cloud certifications.
