Cloud & Data Platform Engineer (m/f)

IT House is recruiting a Cloud & Data Platform Engineer for a client in the technology sector, based in Lisbon.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Act as technical point of contact between Azure Platform and Data Science teams, translating requirements into platform solutions;

- Support and maintain AI and GenAI environments (AI Hub, AI Projects, models, deployments across Dev, QA, Production);

- Administer Azure Machine Learning workspaces (access management, configuration, networking, incident resolution);

- Handle platform requests (access provisioning, resource adjustments, private endpoints, network configurations);

- Provision and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, leveraging existing templates and standards;

- Participate in design and evolution of Microsoft Fabric data platform;

- Create and manage workspaces, capacities, and permissions according to governance models;

- Configure connectivity to data sources (SQL integrations through on-premises and cloud gateways);

- Develop platform automation solutions for workspace provisioning and CMDB/ITSM integration;

- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

PROFILE

- Minimum 1 year with Microsoft Fabric; 2+ years with Azure AI & Machine Learning;

- Strong expertise in Azure (Machine Learning, AI Foundry/AI Hub, networking, IAM);

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric (Workspaces, Capacities, Gateways, Data Governance);

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform);

- Knowledge of container platforms (OpenShift) supporting AI workloads;

- Experience with ITSM processes in regulated environments;

- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to bridge technical teams;

- Self-driven, independent in managing support and maintenance;

- Native or fluent Portuguese; English B1 minimum.
