Cloud & Data Solution Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Cloud & Data Solution Engineer specializing in Data Engineering to design, build, secure, and optimize modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions, analytics platforms, and cloud-native data services that support enterprise reporting, AI, and digital transformation initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support modern data platforms using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
Build and maintain data integration, ETL/ELT, and data transformation pipelines.
Develop Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytics solutions to support reporting and decision-making.
Create and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
Collaborate with customers, business users, and project teams to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Troubleshoot and optimize data platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
Support deployment automation and DevOps practices for cloud and data solutions.
Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft Data, Analytics, and AI technologies.
We are looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Candidates with a Higher Diploma and relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.
Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in data, analytics, or cloud solution delivery.
Experience with one or more Microsoft data and analytics technologies, such as, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory and Power BI.
Understanding of data integration, reporting, and analytics concepts.
Experience in creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data processing and automation.
Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Microsoft certifications are advantageous but not required.
