Cloud DevOps Engineer (Mid) Overview

Cloud DevOps is a driving force behind our data platform for various clients. You will help us shape the future of Analytics, BI and AI with tangible impact on hundreds of users, developers, data engineers and data scientists.

We work in an agile environment. You will join international projects and contribute to the development of our data platform - learning from experienced engineers every step of the way.

What will your job entail?

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of Kubernetes deployments and our internal clusters under senior guidance
  • Implementing GitOps workflows and CI/CD automation for infrastructure and application deployments
  • Participating in our IaC, DevOps, and DataOps efforts
  • Assisting with observability setup using Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager to monitor system health and investigate incidents
  • Learning from and collaborating with senior DevOps and data engineers
  • Working with infrastructure and engineering teams both internally and on client side
  • Documenting and helping automate processes related to your work

You will be working with the following technologies:

  • Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, kube-hetzner), Helm, Docker/docker-compose
  • CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Gitlab CI) and GitOps (ArgoCD)
  • AWS, GCP and/or Azure
  • Data engineering tools: Prefect, DBT, DLTHub
  • Terraform, Python, Linux, bash, git
  • Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a DevOps engineer with solid, hands‑on experience in containerization and cloud infrastructure, and track record of solving real production problems independently.

At a minimum, you will have:

  • Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes in production (deployments, services, ingress, RBAC, autoscaling, IRSA/pod-identity, troubleshooting pod/node issues) - commercial experience running or supporting live clusters is required
  • Solid grasp of core DevOps practices: container orchestration, networking (DNS, load balancing, VPC/subnet design), CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance, Git workflows, scripting (Bash/Python), and Linux administration
  • Practical experience with Docker and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including provisioning and managing infrastructure via Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or equivalent) and ability to debug incidents under moderate ambiguity
  • A pragmatic, ownership-driven attitude - comfortable proposing solutions, not just executing tickets
  • The curiosity and initiative to evaluate new tools/patterns and mentor junior team members when needed

What do we offer in return?

In return for your great skills and knowledge, we offer:

  • Competitive salary in the range of 13K–17K PLN monthly UoP / alternative forms to be discussed, aligned with experience and qualifications.
  • Mentoring and training. We want you to thrive as a member of our team and for that reason, we will provide you with a lot of opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
  • A relaxed working environment with lots of support, nurturing, but also fun. You will be based in the Krakow office in a hybrid format (3 days per week).

Additional Information:

Candidates must be at least B2/C1 level in English and located in Krakow, Poland.

This position offers a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
