About the role

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team with knowledge in AWS, Python, CI/CD, bash scripting and Linux. If you are comfortable in a Linux environment and have strong command line skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Write scripts to automatically deploy all types of applications

• Programmatically create infrastructure in AWS

• Maintain AWS-hosted infrastructure and effectively scale it as demand dictates

• Maintain health, monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools (CloudWatch, etc.)

• Increase the sophistication of our alerting and escalation mechanisms

• Manage access to external servers running Linux and Windows

• Influence the direction of infrastructure policies

• Create, maintain, and iterate on our CI/CD processes for new and existing services

• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning

• Ensure all services are hardened and security best practices are followed during the automated CI/CD processes

Requirements:

• Graduate of a bachelor's degree in computer engineering

• DevOps experience: Over 2 years

• Python Scripting experience: 2 years

• Linux: 2 years

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins (JCASC) - Jenkins Configuration as Code

• Experienced mentoring/training new hires regarding DevOps process

• Well versed in programming combined with cloud

• Infrastructure development - deploy website being developed in AWS, Azure and OCI using Terraform, Ansible, and Grafana under Linux and windows operating system

• Used Docker and Kubernetes for deployment of software developed in DevOps

• Knowledge of deploying to AWS Lambda or ECS using Cli Tools
