About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with Cloud Architecture Certification to join PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH). This is a contract position based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta, offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and DevOps initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that support our organisation's digital transformation objectives. You will bridge the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and optimal cloud resource utilisation. This position is critical to our technology strategy, as you will directly influence the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions utilising industry best practices and your certified cloud architecture knowledge

• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud infrastructure performance, security, and cost efficiency

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application deployment and operational support

• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies

• Establish and maintain robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for cloud environments

• Conduct security assessments and implement cloud security best practices and compliance requirements

• Document cloud architecture, processes, and runbooks to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational efficiency

• Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders on cloud infrastructure solutions

• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and tools to enhance operational capabilities

What we're looking for

• Valid cloud architecture certification (such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, Google Cloud Architect, or equivalent recognised certification)

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering

• Demonstrated expertise with major cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Strong proficiency in infrastructure automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar technologies

• Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes

• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or comparable platforms

• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go

• Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions, including Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog, or New Relic

• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and compliance requirements

• Experience with infrastructure cost optimisation and resource management

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Preferred: Experience with serverless architectures, microservices, and additional cloud certifications
