Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join an international technology team focused on building, automating, and maintaining modern cloud environments. In this role, you will work across the entire DevOps lifecycle—from infrastructure automation and CI/CD implementation to cloud operations, monitoring, and platform reliability.

You'll collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available solutions while promoting DevSecOps best practices and driving continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

• Provision and manage cloud environments across Azure and/or AWS.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to improve platform reliability and performance.

• Automate operational processes to reduce manual effort and enable self-service capabilities.

• Support application deployments and optimize release processes for development teams.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and security teams to implement DevSecOps practices.

• Participate in technology assessments and recommend improvements to existing platforms and processes.

• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously enhance platform stability, security, and scalability.

• Stay up to date with emerging cloud and DevOps technologies and help drive innovation within the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering role.

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

• Experience with Linux and/or Windows administration.

• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy, or similar languages.

• Experience deploying and supporting applications built with Java, .NET, or Node.js.

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes administration and containerized environments.

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.

• Knowledge of Git-based version control systems.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.

• Experience implementing code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, and compliance validation.

• Understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, scalability, and high availability.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Professional level of English.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevSecOps practices and platform security.

• Knowledge of GenAI tools and AI-assisted software development.

• Experience with microservices and API-based architectures.

• Familiarity with Azure AD and modern authentication mechanisms.

• Experience designing secure cloud infrastructure and network security solutions.

• Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud certifications.

• German or French language skills (B2+).
