Job Overview

Applab is seeking an experienced Cloud & DevOps Lead to join its technology team in Qatar. This leadership role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and enterprise infrastructure management. The successful candidate will lead cloud transformation initiatives, design secure and scalable Azure solutions, and mentor high-performing engineering teams while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence.

As a Cloud & DevOps Lead, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-native solutions, modern DevOps methodologies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud architecture.
• Drive enterprise-wide DevOps practices and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Design and manage Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure reliability, availability, and security.
• Lead cloud automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and guide DevOps and cloud engineering teams.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Monitor cloud environments and implement best practices for performance optimization and governance.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 8–10 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering and DevOps, including leadership responsibilities.
