Summary
Cloud Engineer managing and securing Microsoft Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, databases) for a financial-industry employer in Singapore. Day to day covers security and governance, Azure DevOps CI/CD, infrastructure as code with Terraform/Bicep and PowerShell/CLI, plus monitoring, backups, disaster recovery and cost optimization.
Salary: $5,000 – $7,000 per month

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, databases, storage and other cloud services.
Implement cloud security controls, access management and governance standards, supporting audits and compliance requirements.
Support Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Bicep, PowerShell and Azure CLI.
Monitor system performance, manage backups and disaster recovery, troubleshoot incidents and improve platform stability.
Improve cloud performance, scalability and cost efficiency while evaluating new Azure technologies.
Maintain cloud architecture documentation, operational procedures and technical runbooks..
Requirements:
At least 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration experience, with strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security and monitoring.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, PowerShell/Azure CLI, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep) and Azure DevOps/CI/CD.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Azure certifications and financial services industry experience will be an advantage.
