Cloud Engineer (AMK)
Summary
Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP, automate deployments with IaC, and ensure compliance and performance for enterprise systems.
You will be working on planning, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure as a cloud engineer. You will be an important part of the team that designs and implements highly reliable, secure, and scalable cloud-based systems for our client.
Key responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions based on business requirements.
Implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Develop automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and orchestration of cloud resources.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and repeatability of cloud deployments.
Implement security best practices to safeguard cloud infrastructure, data, and applications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cloud services.
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.
Implement scaling strategies to handle varying workloads efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide cloud solutions accordingly.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role in designing and managing cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and storage concepts.
Experience with automation tools like Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
5 day week @ AMK area (Travel to site whenever required)
