Cloud Engineer AWS
Summary
Junior-to-mid cloud engineer role at eCloudvalley Technology in Kuala Lumpur: day-to-day work covers operating and troubleshooting AWS environments, handling client incident tickets, monitoring and optimizing cloud systems, writing Shell/Python/PowerShell scripts and runbooks, with occasional after-hours emergency support.
Salary: RM 3,400 – RM 5,100 per month
Key Responsibilities:
AWS architecture design and integration planning with third-party services.
Operation, configuration, and setup of AWS services.
Understanding, investigating and resolving technical queries and issues.
Owning assigned tickets and ensuring clients are updated on the incidents’ progress, timeframes and resolution plans.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud systems to ensure reliability and performance.
Development of Shell/Python/Powershell scripts.
Writing and maintaining technical documents/Runbook/Wiki.
Collaboration with clients and cross-functional team for Monthly Patching and Reporting.
Occasionally performing the above tasks outside of regular working hours in emergencies.
What We're Looking For:
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
1–3 years of working experience is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a related field.
Basic knowledge or experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Understanding of networking basics, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Customer-facing experience is an advantage.
Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support when required.
