Cloud Engineer (AWS , Terraform , DevOps ,EC2, IAM, CI/CD)

Summary

Design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes for scalable, secure deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment and release management.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
  • Configure, administer, and optimize AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, and related cloud resources.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement proactive optimization measures.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, security policies, and governance controls.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and platform-related issues while ensuring high system availability.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support cloud-native application deployments.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvements in cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud and DevOps engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda.
  • Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; knowledge of CloudFormation is an advantage.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS networking services and IAM security best practices.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Knowledge of Linux administration and scripting is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Having AWS certification is an added advantage.
