Cloud Engineer (Azure) (Contractor)
Salary: ฿45,000 – ฿55,000 per month
About the role
Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure cloud resources. Support day-to-day cloud operations, incident management, and troubleshooting activities, and participate in cloud migration and modernization projects under senior engineer guidance.
Key responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud resources
Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure system availability and performance
Support day-to-day cloud operations, incident management, and troubleshooting activities
Provision and manage Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, App Services and Azure Kubernetes
Implement and maintain cloud security controls, access management, and governance policies
Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities using Azure services
Participate in cloud migration and modernization projects under senior engineer guidance
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python
Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in cloud computing, system administration, infrastructure support, or IT operations
Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud computing concepts
Familiarity with Azure Virtual Machine, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure App Services, Azure Backup, Azure Kubernetes and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration
Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, and firewalls
Familiarity with Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and PowerShell
Understanding of cloud security principles and identity management concepts
Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell and Azure CLI
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
