Cloud Engineer (Bangkok)
Summary
Cloud Engineer at Changan Automobile's Bangkok office (G Tower, Rama 9) who designs, secures, and operates cloud environments across Huawei Cloud, Azure, and AWS. Day-to-day includes incident troubleshooting, workload monitoring and optimization, scripting automated provisioning, and running CI/CD deployments on Kubernetes across on-prem and multi-cloud infrastructure.
Working Location: G Tower, 22nd Floor, North Tower Rama 9
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and design, and set up cloud environments.
· Skillful in planning, implementing, and supporting cloud-based systems.
· Handle incidents, analyze root causes, and troubleshoot for cloud-related issues.
· Ensure the security of cloud platforms adheres to practices and standards.
· Monitor workload operations and optimize resource strategies.
· Develop scripts/templates for automating provisioning tasks.
· Implementing CI/CD deployments on a Kubernetes-based platform, spanning both on-premises and multi-cloud infrastructures.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or Cloud System Admin.
· Extensive hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as Huawei Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
· Practical knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, along with orchestration frameworks such as Helm.
· Understanding of CI/CD concepts and practical experience with build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Git.
· Essential knowledge of operating systems, including Linux and Windows
· Good understanding of networking protocols and theory (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
· Understanding of Linux system administration and infrastructure management
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
